Call them anyway and if anything ever happens to the little boy...at least you can feel you did all you could do...too often this kind of thing turns tragic and if Children Services does nothing then they should be held accountable....

Why not just approach them face to face and confront them? Stand up for that baby! I would most people hate to be confronted if you initiate they will feel bad, or tell you to go to hell either way you stood up for him.

Let them see ya with a video camera in your hands..... I bet they stop......

People who abuse children piss me off too.

Like people who call and call and call complaining but everytime we beg for people to pay a few pennys for public services so we actually have somewhere to take babies in crisis they refuse to vote with there concious.

Like families that have media rooms but will leave a daughter, sister, niece, or Mom in a shelter with a disabled dependent when the over whelmed father figures out she will get more services if he splits with his paycheck.

Like the people who "cozy up" with non-supportng parents.

Or the people who don't want a special needs playgound, foster home, or shelter in their neighborhood because they think it might lower property values.

Or the people who refer to riding the special bus, being retarded, or brag that they walked out on a date that showed up with a diaabiity or a disabled kid.

Like the people who still patronize businesses that openly refused to comply with zoneing laws to include the handicapped (the ADA) that has been on the books 25 YEARS!

Like the people who make a mother with a child in a wheel chair and on a repeirator walk a quarter mile across a blazing hot parking lot while they use Grandma's handicapped parking permit and she has been in a nurseing home three years.

Like the PERFECTLY able Senator, Legislator, or Congressman that use handicapped parking and token efforts to get media but do not come through on real funding for real needs becuse they might not get re-elected.

Like some of the Cops who know that disabled people, includeing, children are being turffed out of hospital beds, or profit nurseing homes, and downtown houseing that is closed to services they need but don't show up as a voteing block to support our issues because we are compeateing for public funding.

Like Veterans that enjoy subsidiszed VA morgages for years but do not insist that the disproportionate number of disbled veterans or women with diaabled children are allowed to buy their homes with preference for lending over speculators.

Like a voting populace who allows their government immunity to "lay off" soldiers who have disabled spouses and children in a selective Reduction in Forces then pay huge bonuses to refill their boots because it is cheaper to quietly send those family to poverty, suicide, and public assistsnce, or homelessness than keep their catestrophic medical expenses on the military insurance/budget.

Yea I hate people who abuse children. I hate it when they ***** and complain and say "Yea somebody ought to do something", kiss ass, raise hell, call, call, call, and harrass the hell out of the people down in the trenches working often with the threast of looseing their job, having their case load double, and their paychecks late at the end of every fiscal year because people ***** about who is going to pay for the newe stadium. Espeically when as little as four hours public service a week this nation could meet every one of the needs of our helpless children who are suffering.

Thank you very much for letting me vent. I hope it tweaks a few people to do more than chat about it. The conversation is good but a little less talk and a little more action is the challenge for any of you that are so inclined.

Holy Moses how did this skip to this thread? Now you see why it doesn't pay to leave all the important work to underpaid beauracrats with out dated technology and computers that can loose something as precious as a child/family in crise down a program loop hole
