In the darkness of the Kiva, Shaman chants
Smoke filled, sacred sage burns
Flames flicker, softly against the soot covered walls
Today I become woman
My name can be spoken now
I can hear it whispered softly in the wind
I am no longer just girl
I am Walks With Wind
Dreamer of my clan
I carry the sacred bundle
Protecting it with my very life
From it the spirits speak
In my dreams
I dream of the future of my people
Famine and war
Moving to a new world
Children born
To carry us through
Twin brothers
Fighting across the sky
And the Phoenix rises
From the ashes and dust
I ride on its back
Amidst the flames
Spear clutched in one hand
Sacred bundle in the other
I must ensure my peoples future
For I am Walks With Wind
Dreamer of my clan...
