Here in South Fla.

Florida Atlantic Unniversity in Boca Raton..grew up near there..noone killed, thank god, but 2 injured and shooter got away. They dont have all the details yet, just happend like an hour ago. I thought i heard a bunch of siruns earlier Happend actually not on the campus but at the Unniversity's Apartments across the street..

say a prayer for these two people hurt (again, thank god thats all it was) and that they find this sicko soon and put him behind bars.

I truly don't understand what this place is becoming...we had a beating/killing of a 23 year old guy over him not selling a van to another guy-supposedly a friend. So the guy beat him to death with a baseball bat then put a towel around the guys head and laid him on the courthouse steps...people are utterly sick. ...it will more than likely get worse due to the economy....

i just live a couple miles from there..

now i know y i want to get the **** outta here.. i hate it here..i know this can happen anywhere, but the crime here is getting bad..real bad..i'm not raising my kids here anymore

There is far to much violence in the world these days.I will pray for the

yes with price of gas people are stealing gas bad even around this small town,,,,,,,,i useally keep my tank full but th other night i left my truck at work,,,,,,,they stole a whole tank of gas,,,,,,,,,an i had some gas missen out of some boats,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,but i think i know was doing this an i almost cought them,,,,,,,,,it's funny how some things show back up

The gas and copper thieves are out in full force. They are stealing copper out of houses that people live in. When they come home they have no electricity,water or heat/air units are missing. They also can have your tank of gas drained in no time flat....this is becoming a place of nothing but evil!!!

Yes they are truly sick and in need of help. All we can do is pray for them until they decide to get help though. We just have to watch and be aware of our surroundings at all times....

sad we have to live that way too..especially here in S.Fla..like i said, its getting bad..u look at someone the wrong way, and they will shoot u..they dont care road rage is bad here too..i hate it..i cant wait to leave

just is month the cheifof police in a city about 3 miles from me was shot because he called a tow truck to have this guys car i,pounded becuase he was late on payment the chief of police is still in stable conditon and they did catch the guy his bond is 3 million ..

good, that way he cant get out..unless he or someone has that kind of $$$ to get him out..i dont beleive in that crap..once in jail, they should stay til trial

they should let students with a ccw carry their friggen guns on campus. how many of these do we have to have before people open their eyes. When I was in college I carried a gun with me, of course I was a LEO then, but still, this is just stupid

Only good news is that no one was seriously hurt. A non student received minor injuries.

The Boca Raton campus is currently on lock down. Only Level 1 Tier 1 essential personnel are permitted on campus.

We wouldn't have problems like this if students were allowed to have their own CCW weapons on campus.
