Where are you sweet lover if only I knew
This fear of you lost has come eerily true This darkness of night I know you're there A synchronized breath that we could share Her softened lips release this gentle sigh Within a lonely bed I'm left wondering why Feeling your presence as I lie here still Such bittered loneliness has stolen my will My withering heart is now turning to stone Now left with such sorrow as I eerily moan Slivers of pale moonlight enter this room This fractured existence has sealed my doom Once I was strengthened by such love & care With my heart I exposed and my soul to bear Perhaps I am not worthy of such a fine gift Unanchored & listless I'm hopelessly adrift Some uncharted course which now lies ahead Piercing ill shadows of thee unspoken dead Such anguishing screams they pitifully wail Stripping my sanity as I hopelessly prevail Take me now Lord;I'm desperate to come home Such a welcomed choice than to perish alone No longer a dry husk;I shall return to dust Though my soul shall rise for in you I trust Written by CyPoet 5/1/08
