"The Book your church Doesn't want you to Read"
Tim C Leedom, Editor

If a person tells you that he or she knows the truth and has not read this book, then they only know half the truth.

In other words, they have been a victim of controlled data, incomplete teachings, self perpetuated mythology or, God bless them, brainwashing."

"In a winner-take-all world, where the stakes are high, I am afraid those addicted by controlled religion will never read this book. Because of fear, laziness or the attitude of "don't bother me with the facts" they will avoid getting a documented menu of substantial archaeological evidence, biblical critique and historical fact. Hopefully, enough of these people will break away just long enough to read this book." Dr. Bob Beck, Physicist.

WOW, did you just find all this out.
I've known this for years.
Unfortunately most people do not and will never believe it whether you, I or whoever tells them. That is because most people cannot think for themselves unfortunately.

I thought it was "the Davinci Code."
In all seriousness. I can read anything that comes to me.
does that mean I have to be moved by it?
a good reader has to have an objective view about things he/she reads.
somebody may argue about the Bible.
I would say (very personally not speaking for any other christian). Whomever reads the Bible verbatim is a fundamentalist.
Now fundamentalism can be both ways christians and nonchristians.

this book brings no new arguments to the table. it's merely a re-editing of the same old arguments from the past 50+ years and they have all been argued very well against.

as i have said many times, you're gonna believe what you want, despite evidence either way. i'm sure even if god proved himself to some people, many would still deny his existence.

loving god is a matter of the heart first, and the mind follows what the heart desires.

just let us believe what we want and we'll leave u alone too.

You will "leave me alone" anyway. You will believe what ever you want anyway.

I am not attempting to bring any "new arguments" to the table or tell you what you should believe.

Neither am I arguing about the existence of God.

I am talking about the history of Religions and religious doctrines.

I HIGHLIGHTED YOUR VEILED DECEIT FOR YOU.

You are antagonizing Christianity with this one

Nothing but ill will displays yourt intentions better, JB.

Get over your self righteous and arrogant pontifications.

Oh, you don't know whatever it is do I mean?

Jesus isn't evolved from apes and neither are you.

The fossil record displays much life before man but no direct link to man

Different species, but bipedal nonetheless.

This is nothing but a snipe at Chirstianity and argumentative and inciteful at all.

Truly as the witch that you are, there is no sincerity intended in helping a Christian at all.

You know Christians are not swayed by this before you ever posted it.

Your intent is not to help anyone.

Your blatant intent is to enflame and condescendingly mock Christianity.

I consider all information.

If what you believe is a lie, wouldn't you want to know it?

I would, because I seek truth.

If you truly seek truth, you are not afraid to consider all information.

JB

you don't seek truth.

You revel in information and romanticize and suppose upon that it is truth seeking.

Those are the gist of your words continually in the threads.

Deceitfully you would feign this sincerity, but your intentions are born of the darkest contempt for Christianity at all

Seeking truth would include seeking to be born again if truth is sought and any is found in Jesus' words as of being from God or not.

The fact that all Christians must be born again requires an acknowledgement by God that the faith is directed at God in sincerity.

He will not embrace a lie that would suppose a trickery on one's soul after the fact of being baptised in the Spirit and taught by the Holy Sprit the truth to grow in. That would be deceitful, and not truthful and certainly not sincere and certainly not to be trusted.

Likewise, you don't seek to share truth either and the benevolence that you feign is not sincerity.

You have alterior motives and a hidden agenda.

This is what it is; a veiled mockery of Christianity.

It is wholly argumentative and completely engendered to create strife and contention.

Truth does not parade around subtly veiling core gulfs between the Christian faith and the religious dogma of evolution, which is and always will remain conjecture and a romantic delusion to distract any and all of facing mortality subject to a higher power. It, evolution, is not proof . It , evolution , is speculation.

They can decide for themselves.

I think people should decide for themselves.

I think people should think for themselves.

just let us believe what we want and we'll leave u alone too.

The day that the Christians leave anyone alone will be a significant landmark for all of humanity.

Christianity is proselytized to the hilt with no apology deemed necessary.

Let someone even remotely suggest that it might be wrong and what do the Christians say?,…

Let us believe what we want and we’ll leave you alone too.

Yeah right. ohwell

Evolution???

I did not say anything about evolution.

This book, which I recommend, is NOT about evolution.

It is an enlightening anthology by world-renowned theologians, historians and researchers that exposes and challenges misrepresentations and age old beliefs.

I highly suggest you read it and please refrain from your poisonous personal attacks.

But no matter, I am immune to them by now, and I forgive you for your passionate reaction. I understand you.

P.S. As for your opinions about my motives, intentions or agenda, ~~ quite wrong ~~~and very irrelevant.

This is a perfect exmple of proselytizing anything other than Christianity in the name of christianity.

Abra, both you and jeannie know full well that it is only Christianity that will take issue with evolution.

The proselytizing is clearly antagonistic towards Christians and no other group

There is no clever way to disguise your hatreds.

You have entered into her diatribe as she does yours; in lockstep. What a d3eceitfulk dance.

When will you get it?

Make your opinions and your beliefs known without climbing over Christianity to do it.

What church is there for pantheism or witchcraft that warrants a secular writer publishing his ilk to such a licentious and marginal group of extremists as those in your belief system?

The economics of that alone would cause refrain of such a book being published.

No, Abra, you are not offended, nor is Jeannie, but you both insist on insulting Christians and Christianity at every step.

I hope you wear out this word soon because you are proselytizing more than Christians ever do.

Believe what you like, no one is stopping you.

Quit veiling your contempt for Christianity and your indefensible rants that cannot seem to step away from insulting Others while doing so.

Surely, there must be a way to get the word out without drawing the Church and Christianity into it.

This book is not one of thpose things, Abra.

Let's remained focused here and not get personal.

This book is an insulting and contemptible ploy when employed here as enlightenment.

It is but a =nother clever and veiled attack that seeks to only mock Christianity and drag some poor unsuspecting and immature and naive believer into this thread to be devoured by your deceitful tactics and feed on their ignorance.

Ultimately, you have shown that you can justify crying foul when you are called on that snipe.

But, dear Abra, that is not going to happen.

Those days are over.

You and Jeannie would do well to understab=nd that your beilefs are one thing.

But they do not and will not stand as crediible when it requires the mocking of Christianity to preach and proseytize your message, which is all you are really doing.

Christians, born again and filled with the Holy Spirit will teach what constitutes Christianity.

Not you.

Not Jeannie.

Not anyone other than who and what constitutes a Christian.

This book is only argumentative and meant to create strife as presented in this thread.

Please keep the context of this intact.

Evolution and the Church are oxymoronic concepts.

Christianity is truth to Christians. And the requirement to be born again to be a Christian is a fact that that also flies in the face of evolution.

Evolution is unproven conjecture to everyone and a religion to some, but it is not truth and it is not fact.

And it is utterly prepostreous to suggest as sincerity that this book is going to help anyone choose a church when it is only a mockery of Christianity veiled in conjecture and wishful thinking.

get over yoursaelves already, please.

Be nice.

cut the deceitfulness

Play it straight.

Really, you two.

Seriously Wouldee, I think you are loosing your freaking mind.

As you have told Abra to stay out of others threads and go start his own, I could tell you the same.

Well I did start this one.

This thread is not for you.

You don't intimidate me in the least ~~ so get over yourself.

I am recommending this book to any poor soul who wants to learn some of the history about the lie that calls itself religion, particularly Christianity.

I believe a large portion of it is pure evil. And I am not asking anyone to believe me. I am asking them to read this book and decide for them self. It is history.

This book is NOT about evolution. Geeeeze.

what else is the intent of archaelogical evidence then?

what other mainpulations of history are intended?

The Bible does not contradict archaeology except with regards to evolutionary conjecture.

You haven't even read the book yourself apparently.

You do not fool me.

You are disguising your deceitful treachery at the expense of what?

Being helpful?

Please, jeannie. Stop peddling this deceit as innocent good will.

At the very least, you haven't thought it all through well enough.

You all have to be very clear from now on and very hoinest.

I am not going to tolerate your insults and d3eceitful mockery any longer.

You will all have to stand on the merits of your own beliefs withpout your spurious and and micking comtempts of Christianity.

It's that simple.

Stop proselytizing your hatreds.

Proselytize your religipous beliefs all you want.

all day and all night.

just leave Christianity out of it.

All you do is insult and inflame aND INFURIATE AND INSULT And defame and ridicule and mock Christianity at every opportunity.

Nope. No more!

Not any more.

I will call it when I see it.

veiled, hidden, lurking under the surface, if its there, I wiull expose it.

If its not there, I will leave it alone.

But you and others need to recognize your hate speech for ewhat it is.

You also need to recognize, as often as oit is required, that you are not alone in your sensitivities.

There is nothing about your beliefs that ever requires dragging Christianity into them.

Christianity does not address other religions. Period. Not to prove itself. It is meritorious as a faith within itself.

Apply that same manner to you own beliefs and show the respect and dignity which you demand for a change.

This thread is insulting to a mature Christian.

either of you care that that insensitivity exists, intended or not?
