For Christians, those are words which are understandably poignant, being blessed to have the Holy Spirit show us the difference between our spirit and our soul through the indwelling of the Holy Spirit being fused to our own spirit for the good of our souls. It is by the Holy Spirit through which we grow and learn and become wise in the things of God, as given us in Christ.

This is the really a very fundamental difference between the way that Christians and Pantheist think.

For a Pantheist is silly to talk about the difference between a ‘spirit’ and a ‘soul’ they are one in the same thing to a pantheist. A pantheist realized that we are not separate from God. We are a direct manifestation of God. They idea that we are separate souls and could be eternally lost is simply not a sensible idea in pantheism. It makes no sense in the pantheistic picture.

Christians believe that they came into being when their body was born, and that they will live only one life, and depending on how they live that fleeting moment of human existence will determine how they will spend all of eternity.

That very notion is just yet another notion that seems utterly unreasonable to me. The idea that souls are placed in bodies, and in the very short course of a single lifetime the eternal fate of that soul will be determined. I would dare say that this is not merely unreasonable, but it is utterly absurd.

This is especially true in the face of the fact that humans don’t all live the same length of time. Some die young, some die old. And what happens to the souls of babies that die? Surely this is extremely problematic even for Christians? Or don’t they even bother to think about these things?

For pantheists, the picture is entirely differnet. Pantheism says that our fundament essence is spiritual. And it means it! Not only do we continue to exist in spirit after we die, but we had also existed in spirit prior to when our bodies were born. We are eternal. We understand this because this is precisely what the pantheistic picture is saying.

It would be impossible to be separated from God in spirit because we are manifestations of God. In fact, if this isn’t true then you’ve got a real problem! The problem being that if you aren’t a manifestation of God, then you must be a manifestation of something else!!! The very idea that you aren’t God requires that you be something separate from God. But if you can be separate from God then what would you be? A God in your own right evidently. How else could you exist if you weren’t part of God?

They problem is in thinking that you are separate from God in the first place. Christians think they are separate entities from God. But that’s a logical crisis in and of itself. That would mean that they could exist outside of God in their own right.

Pantheists know that isn’t even possible. The very notion implies that you’d have to be an entity in your own right to be separate from God.

It amazes me that Christians can’t see this. I wonder who they think they are if they aren’t a direct manifestation of God?

All this talk of being separate from God is unreasonable to me. Totally unreasonable.

It is difficult to sell a glass of water to the man who owns the well...

The king had a well he commissioned be dug in the middle of the kingdom which he admired daily from his vantage point from his home, high on a hill.

Always pleased that the people, whom he serves, do drink daily from the well which they draw from in the midst.

On one particular day, the king noticed someone pouring into the well, not drawing from it. That was odd.

As the people came and drew from the well and drank from that which they drew, they became increasingly at odds and were troubled and very much in bitterness against the king.

It came one day, that all of the people had come to the conclusion that the king was not only ill, but very much not in his right mind and resolved to depose and dethrone him.

The king however knew otherwise, since he had not drank from the well since it was poisoned, having witnessed the change from his view.

Reasoning within himself, as he contemplated the strife and unrest of the people, he resolved what to do. Lest the people revolt in a coup and imprison the king being alienated against him and poisoned into their delusion, ha decided to act for the good of the people.

So, in the night when none stirred and the kingdom asleep , the king went to the well in the midst and drank from the poisoned well.

In the morning, the people, all in one accord, rejoiced, for the king was now well, and once again in his right mind, and peace and tranquility was restored.

John 4:10

Jesus answered and said unto her, If thou knewest the gift of God, and who it is that that saith to thee, Give me to drink ; thou wouldest have asked of him, and he would have given thee...

...living water.

That story sucked, because there were no frogs or princesses, but especially no frogs.

Here's a little story for you about frogs and princesses.

One day a computer programmer was walking through the park and a frog jumped out onto the path in front of him. "Kiss me" said the frog "and I will turn into a beautiful princess." A look of deep thought crossed the computer programmers face and then he bent down, gently picked up the frog and put it into his shirt pocket. From his pocket, the frog cried "Hey, aren't you going to kiss me and turn me into a beautiful princess?" and the computer programmer replied "I'm a computer programmer, I don't have time for women, but a talking frog is really neat."

This is the fairy tale that we should have been reading as little girls!

Once upon a time, in a land far away, a beautiful, independent,
self-assured princess happened upon a frog as she sat, contemplating ecological issues on the shores of an unpolluted pond in a verdant meadow near her castle.

A frog hopped into the princess' lap and said: Elegant Lady, I was once a handsome prince, until an evil witch cast a spell upon me.

One kiss from you, however, and I will turn back into the dapper, young Prince that I am and then, my sweet, we can
marry and set up housekeeping in your castle with my
mother, where you can satisfy my needs, prepare
and serve my meals, clean my clothes, bear my children,
and forever feel grateful and happy doing so.

That night, as the princess dined sumptuously on lightly sautéed frog legs seasoned in a white wine and onion cream sauce, she chuckled and thought to herself:

I DON'T FRICKIN THINK SO!!!!!

The moral of this story: Women are cannibals.

Yeh, women should learn to be more ruthless. Happily ever after with the prince of your choice still involves a mother in law, and the duties of wife and mother and all that comes with that.

Even for Princess Diana, who was only chosen and used to bare children for the Crown, and nothing else. After her job was done, Prince Charles took the woman he really wanted and Princess Diana was killed, I suspect on purpose.

She should have never kissed the toad.
