Can I switch between the 2??
 I've done both. Housewife got old and real boring. Working is great to get away from the house, but gets old too. Final Answer: Marry a rich man so I can stay at home & work on a voluntary basis.

I am career-oriented, but as a single mother as balancing work, school, internships and/or research and home! So. HA! Amen to that!! There's no such thing as one or the other for some of us. We have to do it all!

I'm the best damn housewife I ever had...and the best employee I could ever want. yep done the suzy homemaker... gardening, canning and freezing food, dinner on the table... and completely bored and at times nervous breakdown b/c owen was little. Now, busy busy, but love it... i am definately not a stay at home mom...... i would love to have a stay at home dad  any takers?

their are not too many jobs that last long like the old days. who has worked for the same co for over 5 years?

Since we didn't have to choose just one I like both. Gotta love a lady who can take care of things at home as well as passionate about her career.
