wow!! mine never did either.. i had sex education in health class and one of my sisters talked to me about it.. never my mom, and of course my dad would never go into that subject, even after they divorced

i didnt even tell my own kids. and my daughter is 25 and with 3kids she knew what it was all about at her age before i did. she had her son at 14, and her 2nd at 17 and her baby is 2yrs old. and my son, well i dont need to talk to him about it, hes 21 and hes a special needs child, but he does every now and then say he has a gf, hes my baby..
my grandson is 10yrs old and great with his little sister and i told him that he would make a great father in 20yrs and his statement to me was he wanted a child when he was 19yrs well he has 9yrs more to go

I have had the "Talk" with both of my kids, 13 and 10!!!!! I did it because my parents never had it with me, and I dont want to be 33/ 34 with grandkids, and this day and time, it is important for kids to have that communication with their parents.

My mom gave me "the talk" when I was 11. But she did it in semaphore. Now I get excited every time I see a flag.

I remember my mom having 'the talk' with me. She was so uncomfortable, she had to get really drunk first. As I recall, she didn't make much sense.laugh
