I've had good experiences on cruises but the two things I'd tell you are to bring $$ for the drinks and DON'T hook up with the staff. Don't even let one know you may be interested, they will "stalk" you the whole cruise.

I love cruises, lots of fun stuff to do and I gained 10 pounds.

How about all the women who love the uniform getting plastered and chasing staff and staff seriously trying to fend them off because of strict disciplinary action awaiting the stalkers. I was an chief engineer once long time ago I can tell you stories. Some have been on cruises once . We lived on the ship. Now if you talk about the male staff and female staff that is a different thing this is not the forum for that

I literally just got back from a cruise to Alaska yesterday, all I can say it was AWESOME!!!!!

I went on a cruise with my mom and my cousin on the TransAtlantic Ocean Liner-The Queen Mary II. It was awesome!! I am now addicted to cruises. Ready to go again. We went from Brooklyn, NY (so we drove up there from MD) to Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada, where we had a port call and back with a port call in Boston. I fell in love with Boston and will try to go for a week in the fall or at least a long weekend!

Cruises are very relaxing, informative and most of all gives you time to reevaluate who you are in this world..other than that..the food is fantastic, the ambiance is steaming, the culture is dazzling, the merchandise is to die for..especially if you have $$ to spend..the staff are gorgeous and friendly..the name of the game is be cautious, adventurous, lukewarm risk taker, do not do things by yourself..but most of all try things..and RELAX, RELAX, RELAX...
