To All Fathers

If you're young or someone older
It doesn't matter your age,
But if you're some kind of father
Then read the words upon this page.

Children will always be
The apple of your eye,
Whether you're married or divorced
The rules of fatherhood, still apply.

They're your responsibility
Take pride in their joy,
Don't be a dead beat dad
To your little girl or boy.

They are your flesh and blood
Please, take care of their means,
Make sure they have food to eat
Tennis shoes and jeans.

If you're married, you'll love them
As I know you will,
But if you're separated or divorced
Make sure you fit the bill.

Take care of them, for always
You'll be glad you had,
Fathers Day will mean so much more
When they can call you Dad.

I want to thank you all for posting such wonderful comments. It's a shame that most fathers can't seem to own up to their responsibilities. If you're going to stick it in, you better stick it out for the long run is all I gotta say.
