I like Dylan. His songs are well thought out and his style is certainly unique. And he wrote a really sweet song called "Sara" and it's nice to have your name in a sweet song...not like any other one I've heard

Page/Plant Springsteen Pete Townsend Dylan's just a stud musician who influenced so many people. It's hard to compare him to anyone really. I'd say it's him and Lennon for #1. |

Page and Plant for sure are my favourite. Lennon and McCartney too, you really can't leave out Macca (although neither is my favourite Beatle).

True. And some writers NOW are exceptional too. I agree. The only problem I see with some of the current groups/artists is too much filler on their discs. Several songs will be outstanding and the rest occupy space. Gone for the most part are the days when you could listen to an album/disc from beginning to end. |
