Good question...most of the people I have spoken with beieve it is before the tribulation, but many have also agreed it actually comes at the same time or after....

wouldn't you be in rapture after you survived the tribulation?

We are told in the bible to watch the fig tree,,,when it is tender and puts forth leaves the generation that sees this shall not pass away until all this comes to pass,,,the fig tree is a name for Israel,,,it be came a nation and during the two wars it grew,,,,and I was alive to see it,,,makes one wonder.

Jesus will have one second coming...if he had two second comings, they would be called second and third...

Since the Rapture will happen at Jesus' second coming, the Rapture will be post tribulation. This also explains why Jesus warned that many would fall away during the tribulation...because they will expect the rapture and give up hope when it doesn't come. I think pre-tribulation rapture is a very dangerous doctrine in that regard.

it would be prudent for Christians to think about being about their Father's business in each generation and not waiting around for some release from the demands of this life and this world.

I fail to see how any could be so blindly deluded with thinking that this generation or any other, for that matter, is so special that it is not going to have to deal with hardships, trials, tribulations and just about any and every conceivable thing that happenstance may bring to them.

A waste of time, in my opinion, to be sitting around feeling so blessed that the ills of this world are not ills that all taste and disdain.

It appears to me that given that those of the early church who gave themselves with reckless abandon to serve the truth of God in Jesus and hadn't considered and thus hindered their very efforts to share the gospel with the power of the Holy Spirit, then that we should also do likewise for our generation, if it so that we are counted among these forebearers of the gospel and the Holy Spirit.

yathink?

I believe I'm in tribulation everyday. As long as I don't reach my final end which is BEATITUDE (latin word which means the contemplation of God)
That is going to be after i pass away. If I'm a good boy ofcourse.

I think some refer to the views as pre-millenial or post-millenial. I don't have much of an opinion either way, however, I do believe we're saved by faith, not works. Otherwise, I wouldn't have a ghost of a chance, either way!
