is it so bad to be raised in a simple way, love your family, protect your friends, do anything to help you can, ask for nothing, and give your all in what you do? i thought that was what the country was founded on. but i guess i was wrong when i was raised. damn my upbringing in being a nice person. im such a horrible person.

The "farmer" part of my pseudonym comes from a deep affection for time spent in a community where your word is gold....you take care of your family, friends, and community (in that order)...you know what a "real" days work feels like, and live by the golden rule.
 Yah..it's horrible! | |

when i was 5 i was put in the fields working in tobacco and wheat and soybeans, work all day and tired as hell when i go home. i couldnt do much, but i had to do something. when i was 10 i could do just about anything on the farm. i know what a truly fresh dinner is. and i love the way i was raised. to hell with people who think its wrong to work for what you get.

my kids are growing up as much like me as possible, but i wont put them in the fields, first off my grandpa is getting really old, and another i dont want them dealing with the pain that i dealt with. but when they are old enough they will know what it is to work for what you want, to know how a job well done feels like and how it makes you feel
