YES I THINK ITS BEST CAUSE AFTER A WHILE OF CHATING YOU WANT TO KNOW HOW
DO THEY LOOK. THEN U TEND TO THINK THE PERSON IS PLAYING GAMES WITH YOU.

I don't think it is all that important. I would rather be seen for my
mind and not my face.

I like to put a face to who I am speaking with. Easier to remember them
next time they want to chat.

I like to see peoples pictures. A. to see how old they look and if they
are that "special eye-candy" and to check out the compitition. lmfao
just kidding about the last part.

I agree with shenadra! It's just easier for me to remember by seeing
faces...

If your here looking for someone then yes it is. If your here just to
chat and no relantionships then no it's not. If a guy wants to talk to
me on a one on one level then yes I want to see who I'm talking to at
the same time. flowerforyou

it doesn't necessarily have to be a picture of you. a lot of people here
have pictures of something else. it's just nice to associate somebody's
handle to some kind of image, whether it's their face or a picture of a
cat's butt...although please don't use pictures of cat butt....

i think posting a photo shows an honesty in ones self...starting off
with the whole picture, sort of speak, otherwise for me anyway i wonder
what the person is hiding from.....that's just me....BUT...if some one
intrigues me without a photo i will not pass them by.....life is a risk!

I guess I worded that wrong. I would like to have an image to associate
the person with, just like Bass said. Right now, I am just trying to
make friends. If something happens with one of those friendships, then
even better. You never know what life is gonna throw at
you.flowerforyou

I prefer photos . . . ACTUAL photos, not stock photos that many find on
the web. It's comforting to put a name with a face, a voice, a life
that many of us get to know.

I think you should post a REAL pic! But only if you are comfortable
doing that. I would like to know who I am talking to!

The web gives us a chance at anonymity. We're all very aware that we can
play the game of pretending to be someone-else, as well as be played.

Putting up a picture is part of the game - in some ways it extends a bit
of trust. A tiny bit, because we all know that you could easily put a
picture of someone else up, and its likely that many people do that. It
raises the stakes somewhat - if you put up a picture, and its a sham,
but you meet someone personally, you've created a real problem, and its
clear you cant be "trusted".

So, put up a picture. Pick anything, and if you're really too shy to
post one of yourself, then pick something that says something about your
character - snag an image from Google's Image Search.
