I belive in God, because alot of miracles have happend to me, and I have gifts too, that not many people have.

I also prayed, I wanted to get more involed in a church and that is about to happen, So i'm totally willing and prepared for whatever the future holds for me.


I hope other people say why they faithful and belive in God. Also how did yall get to know God? I would love to hear stories of how you came to know God.

I came to know God after I left my ex fiance about a year and a half ago. He lied to me on several occassions and evetually got himself arrested. When I left him, I was a little angry at God because I didn't understad His purpose yet. Later, I bought a new car which I wouldn't have been able to afford had I gotten married, I found out my credit score was amazing which wouldn't have happened because his credit was horrible, and I got into the college I had always wanted to get into which never would've happened because I would've had to have worked full-time. I have had many many blessings since I left my ex fiance, and because of that, I have grown much closer to God and have found new ways to serve Him.

I hope people don't think this topic is a joke.

I done went though the party path and that don't get you nowhere, except in more trouble. Alot more trouble, so it's better to follow God's path and help everone out no matter how old, what they do, as long as it don't invole $$$, unless you can really trust them. I work at Publix and I promise you I would,ent date noone from Publix, because they all like a second family to me for real.

I have faith. I was raised to believe and still do. I have questioned why many times, (especially during college philosophy courses), but always came back. Just faith.....

Just an advice as fellow christian.
You will find in your path a lot of people who don't believe in God, and they will do whatever is in their hands to discourage you to follow the Lord's path.
Keep a strong prayer, so your heart is strong enough to keep walking towards the Lord.
Study the scripture restlessly, and keep your mind busy with edifying readings. ANd as you said get involved in church activities, so your faith will grow strongly.
Please no matter what other people say keep your faith strong, my brother.

When I use to go to church bad things always happened to me! Well I havent been in church for years and good things happened to me and bad things happened to me! Do I ned to ask GOD WHY these things happen to me? NO cause Things happen cause I personal messed up or some1 else messed something up for me or it just happened! Cause in the end You gotta get up n deal with everything in ur life n not depend on something!

Well to let you know I'm also trying to get involed with a 20's something bible studie at my church. Of course truthfully I have,ent read the bible in awhile and I need to pick it up and get back to reading it, because people they took me off my path, but now i'm geting back on it and my faith is going to keep geting higher and not go down at all. and the bible studie happens to be on sunday when I work, but they building a new church, so it might be on another day. Don't worry God is talking to me and for sure helping me get involed with this church. I had so much stuff try to stop me allready, I fall down but get right back up, wipe myself down and try to renew my studies and get back to where i was before or get higher and more involed.

I never went to church as a child. I was 20 when I gave my life to Him and it has been an adventure ever since. I would not have survived with God's protection, love and leading. I have a 3 yr old granddaughter that was born 3 months premature. She weighed 1 lb, 10 oz. and 13 inches long. She is still tiny and only weighs 28 lbs. However, she is the smartest 3 yr old I've ever seen. she knows her colors, shapes, letters, numbers and can count to 10 in spanish. God is everywhere - just listen to a small child giggle - and then tell me there is no God. Look at the ocean and tell me how it doesn't go everywhere - what stops it. Anyway just wanted to put my 2 cents worth here.

I first came to Christ at 17 yrs. old...but I floated in & out for years. I just could not rap my head around the idea of unconditional love since I never experienced it growing up. (Not to say that God didn't change my family dynamics...I DO love my family.) :)

Many things in God's word were stumbling blocks for me...I just could not get passed some things in God's word. So I thought I was unworthy...too bad for God to love. I also smoked (cigs that is.). I felt that was also a stumbling block to God. It's funny what we hold in our heads that keep US from God. LOL

Anyway...I got serious about God about 10 yrs. ago & in His timing He showed me that he didn't forget about me. I got assurance of His love FOR ME!

That's why I know that no matter what...God is true & that He never leaves us or forsakes us & His word is true. :)

sam anyone can be. All you got to do is study the bible and go to church and fellowship and have good faith.

most important is the faith though.
