ive been to my endocrinolgy appt, and its not good news. ive got cushings disease. going to my next appt in about a hours time.

I'm sorry,,,but faith in the spirits girl Are they gonna decide on a course of treatment? not really, my inhaled steroids ive had for my asthma for years are in my blood stream and theres way to much steroid in my body which is artifial, my own natural steroid levels were terrible, the results were shocking, without my inhaled steroids ill die because im not making my own. its really hard to explain, they can reduce my inhaled steroids a bit, but thats it. i cant stop them.

I am so sorry too, You will be in my thoughts and prayers. Please keep us all updated...ya know we all care about you. thanks. i asked him if i could come off my steroid inhaler and he said no, because basically the artificial steroids are keeping me alive and if i just stop them my body wont make it up in time and im dead, so reducing them slowly may help a bit, but ill always have to have the inhaled steroids. therefore ill always have this disease.

Interesting. I didn't read that far. My son had to take steroids when he was young for 3 years due to a childhood kidney disease. It was horrible and we were always concerned about the side effects. God bless you Deb .. ive been on them neally 28 years, basically wehni was little they gave me so much steroid, my own body stopped making my own, and basically all the damage from that as caused this.
