ok i was online with this guy. i simply asked him if he was on facebook because he gave me his name. he said no. - of course he was on facebook cause i found him, with 154 friends, half girls. that is why i asked the question.

i cannot stomach liers, it just cuts me right through.

I wish I could explain to you why he lied. Why don't you try confronting him with his lie and ask him why? It would be interesting to hear his reasoning.

Maybe they werent tickled about you knowing their last name. I dont like facebook for that reason. I only add friends and classmate that I personally know. Because i have personal info. Just a thought.

When you first meet someone online and are getting to know them, there is certainly info that SHOULD be withheld...that being said, I think they could just say that there are things they are not comfortable talking about or disclosing this early. If the person respects that and doesn't push them for it, that says a lot. I do not want any info they are not willing to provide me with on their own. Time will tell if they are being truthful about what they DO tell me.

My EX (notice the EX part) BF did the same thing to me with myspace but worse. We'd been together for 3 years and I started a myspace and wanted him to join me on there. He said he wasn't on there at all of course and made me feel badly for bein on there.

Long story how I found out but it was purely accidental. I wasn't witch hunting. Yah.
