Is there anything that you could say that while having a conversation with someone that just doesn't sit right with you....

That your intuition just says "this is not right"?

For me...it is men that says that their wife and child died during child birth, I've heard that line more than once. As tragic as that sounds....I just don't think it happens that often.

Anything comes to mind for others, I'm just curious.....

That happens to me more than you can possibly know.

Just recently a guy mailed me and asked me what I did. Several mails later he made a comment that clearly indicated he had not at all read or remembered what I do for a living (this was within an hour)...... So I re-sent it.

His reply was to insult my character in a very passive aggressive way, accusing me of not being able to take a joke. (There was no joke, really, none...) so I thanked him for letting me know so early on about his character so I did not waste my time.

Then there was the guy who told me about his domestic violence conviction after I said I worked with the courts....

Then there was the guy who told me he'd never been passionate about anything and never liked college or learning after I asked him what he'd majoring in at college.....

Then there was the guy who had returned from vacation, meeting all my family with me, and had ignored, disrespected, and belittled them rudely the whole trip. He was like invasionof the body snatchers from how he was with me alone. After we got home I said something about it, in that I was very hurt and upset. He replied, "This is not the Lilith show"...

Enough? frustrated

how about the ones you are emailing with or iming with and huge huge pauses between the answers... yet your supposedly the "only one for them"laugh when in fact the other person they are talking to is more important and they forgot that they were in a im with youlaugh

Here's a red flag for ya. Not following my GUT instinct with a guy who was talking with me and showing major signs of low self-esteem in the threads .. I was stupid enough to give him my yahoo ID.

Ya.

Maybe 10 lines into the convo he tells me he 'needs a woman today' .. now we ALL know what that means.oops

Then he proceeds to explain that .. and do I want to play on line. offtopic I'm thinkin NOTpitchfork

and when I tell him that in my most gracious way possible for a MORON ..

he tells me to take the Corona outta my butt ..

Oh .. after deleting him on Yahoo and blocking him on here? I shoved that Corona up HIS. smokin

I just think that it's ridiculous, that we would believe such nonsense. He was shocked that I've heard it before about wives dying during childbirth....really.

As soon as they call me "Baby", "Babe" or something like that in the first email. Or I've gotten a lot of "I work out of the country" a lot. One guy even told me he lived near me, but didn't know anything about the area... hmmm.
