i love "strange brew". probably in my all time top five.
i spent a week in the vancouver b.c. area 12 years ago, there for the wedding of a friend. it was beautiful, and a trip to vancouver island and victoria was great! my friend lived on #5 road in richmond... |

I had some guy from Minisota ask me the other day. "Is it not cold all the time in Canada?" I told no. In reality we are more south then you are. Look at a atlas. Living in England I met a LOT of South Africans and they could not BELIEVE it got to -40 sometimes. I just laughed when they suggested we didn't leave the house all winter. I said "We put on boots, mitts and scrape off the car. Go on with the day." Were are you that is gets to -40?  If it got that cold here it would make the news. Now these are the parts that you want to stay away from. WAY too cold for me!

I'm just Southwest of you but I meant up North. When I lived in Kingston it got to -40 a lot though.
