Topic: Do you have a passcard? It's the law!

If you want to go to Mexico or Canada you'll be needing one. They just starting to make them I think in June. Does anyone have a US passcard?

They haven't sent them out yet. They said June before....now all I hear is "soon".

It's a US Passort ID Card. Fits in your wallet.

I used to go to Mexico every year and all you had to have was a valid drivers license or state license. Where to you get these?

Passcard? Is that like a Passport? Great another stupid thing I have to carry in my purse..and prolly lose..

I heard about those. They come pre-installed with the V-Chip and you have to wear a tin foil helmet while carrying one to avoid the mind control rays.... scary stuff...

You get them anyplace you get a passport. I applied at my local Post Office.

I think those are only good for 'by land or by sea'. If you fly, you still need a passport.

It gets me that they think we need any sort of National ID card... We already have one... it's called a SSN. And personally, I think that one's too much.

And I understand at the Mexican border you have to leave $$ to prove you have funds??? Something like that?
