A friend of mine told me tonight that she told a long time friend of ours that she loved him. But now he has been somewhat distant. They've been friends for at least 5 years and she has been feeling this way toward him for a long time. She rcently sent him a message asking if they were still friends, instead he posted the following song:

Maybe he is too. Maybe she should talk to him.

Geez... sounds to me like he wants to reciprocate and since he's being distant, he's obviously afraid to. Chances are since she said that, she's been acting different toward him as well... I'd tell her she definitely needs to ask him if he wants to do anything about it.

He is afraid of getting hurt again. He knows how it feels to get the heart ripped out, and does not want to do it to anybody else. Tell her to give it time, but don't give up. Tell her "make it no pressure" and see if he will come around.
