If you broke up with a person you were in love with and, after awhile, that person moved in with someone else. Later, you both communicate and realize that you still are very much in love with each other.

Would you pursue re-establishing the relationship or would you let it go?

there was reason for the break up in the first place, if it were me...let it go.

Depends on what the reasons for breaking up in the first place were.

Exclude unfaithfulness and any sort of abuse. Any other reason that might be able to be worked out could be the cause.

yes there are reasons for breakups but facts are after time sometimes two people realize they were petty.... however since that person is living with someone else now that relationship shoud be broken first and no contact should be made until that happens or talk about getting back together because that is not fair to the other person.. how would you like it if someone was talking to your partner about getting back together with her? respect is needed.. untill then no eat your mistakes

Most problems in relationships come down to poor communication. This situation sounds like one of those. If you both broke up, and later on you find out you still care for one another, the reason you too broke up is probably somthing you two disagreed on. If I were you, I would find out what that problem was, decide (together) if it was worth all the fuss, and go from there. If you were, or are, truly in love, dont let it go, love is somthing too magnificant just to "let it go." But before you do anything, you need to figure out how your ex parnter feels about you, and you do that by....communicating! Oh and as for them living with somone else, they either a: decided that you two were not meant for each other, or b: Needed a rebound to try and forget about you, but come to find out they really do care about you. Again, you can figure this all out just by having a "civil conversation" with your ex!

Good Luck!!!

Exactly! how can you possibly expect to work anything out when he or she is still living with someone.. and if they dont leave that person but still claim their love for you then IMO they may love you but they sure dont respect you or your feelings. geeeze that sounds familiar.

some times in life we have to move on and what would it do to the other partner who is with your x now .

I never understood why people do this they brake up go differnt ways as soon as one is with some one new and finds the x and they get together again the new partner is the one who get's the shaft. So it wouldn't be fair for the new person thats involved i would leave it be move on my grandfather once told me there are plenty of fish in the sea some u catch u must throw back.

Don't do it. I did that and it still didn't work. why have your heart broken twice over the same person. Move on.
