Does this creep anyone else out? It seems like an inordinate number of people say that exact phrase repeatedly in emails and it gives be a touch of the heebiejeebies.

depends on the person who is saying that. If i was in your situation i could relate to your feelings especially if someone said it on here

she basically saying, they are comming on a little strong for her, i can understand that.. start with somthing more specific, somthing you might actually want to know.

it's not that I would prefer that they say something else...it just seems like an odd thing to say. I guess it's something I haven't heard much of in person...and it isn't conducive to good conversation. you would like to know more about WHAT exactly?

I can appreciate the feelings derived from such an all encompassing yet vague in its lack of "starting point" Truth is you are extremely good looking young woman and this will draw all types your way. For the most part, aside from the many "just because you look good" solicitations, this is quite a compliment and probally should be looked at as such. I would suggest a standard responce to that question with a sole purpose of getting a responce that you can get a "feel" why they decided to ask you that question. "And why is that?" something blessings :)

I do not find it creepy at all. You want to know more about WHAT you say? Ummmm YOU. I mean they could say nothing at all not show any type of interest. This is a dating site that is what we are here for, is to get to know each other.

well, you would think that they would just start off getting to know you, rather than saying that they would like to.

there's that...and the odd number of times that that exact statement is included in an email. it almost feels like code for something I'm not privy to.
