You mean your browser doesn't automatically underlined words you type
that don't exist?

mine does.

(And yes, just so that there is no doubt, i am arrogantly trying to
imply that my browser is better than your browser.) ;)

I belive there are more pressing issues in this world than spelling and
punctuation. Sorry not everyone has a college degree or a high school
diploma, and som have disablities..geeze dude get over it its just a
freakin dating site not the damned English 101

To consider spelling more important than conceptional formulation is
akin to holding mathmatics above ethics.

This is one of your post..derfw3, and as everyone can see, your
punctuation is wrong, you did not double space after a period and you
have spelling and punctuations errors, so what is your concern if you
can't write correctly just like us, where does it hurt!!!?

your post!!!
'm going to ask the moderators to close this thread (assuming they
exist) before it gets any more out of hand.

I would, in closing, like to say a few things. First, I was NOT in
any way refering to those who have learning disorders. I was in
"specialty learning" classes years ago and I would not stoop to that;
it's just low. Next, accidents happen, we all misspell words (and as I
stated earlier there are no "edit" buttons), I have to constantly look
up how to spell "incredible" or "probably" but I do it because I would
rather people not look at my writing and think "Did this guy graduate
50th in a class of 20?". Lastly, the people who poo-poo my little rant
and say that it's not a big deal I'll ask this. If you were having an
operation and your surgeon came in and spoke like a person I'm refering
to; would that fill you with confidence or dread?

Ahha! The first pertinent question in a long time.
Very good one. Changes with level of objectivity.
One of the very first and one of the very last.
WELL DONE.

Derf initially was VERY specific in his pet peeve - its people (like
me!) who routinely use 'their' instead of 'there', and make similar
phonetic word substitutions. So in my book he's not a hypocrite unless
he does that same thing.

In any case, i'm sure he's reading everyone's responses and realizing
how absurd he was being.

To all the people who complained about lack of spell check, download a
newer, free browser!
