wow, I had a tottally different experience when I was in Dublin in 06...The people were super nice, the weather was great(a little cold) and the club scene was cool as well, just like you tho I didnt like the clubs that closed early...from what I heard there are early club and ones that closed later on around 2am......I was only there for a long weekend, I always felt like I would go back for a second visit one day....

Oh a weekend revolution is good fun but try and live here all year around....forever!!

Its hard and the country is slowly winding back to the early 90's. Unemployment is on the rise. Watch out America here we come again!!!
thats sad to hear, lets hope things turn around quickly....

As far a where I live????????? Its a good area for married people with children but for single people it sucks, I always have to drive to Philadelphia for a good time....

Soldiers are we
whose lives are pledged to Ireland;
Some have come
from a land beyond the wave.
Sworn to be free,
No more our ancient sire land
Shall shelter the despot or the slave.
Tonight we man the gap of danger
In Erin's cause, come woe or weal
'Mid cannons' roar and rifles peal,
We'll chant a soldier's song

It's the National anthem

And this is the unoficial athem for a complete Ireland, sung at rugby matches as the rugby team comprises both the north and south

Come the day and come the hour
Come the power and the glory
We have come to answer
Our Country’s call
From the four proud provinces of Ireland

Chorus
Ireland, Ireland,
Together standing tall
Shoulder to shoulder
We’ll answer Ireland’s call

From the mighty Glens of Antrim
From the rugged hills of Galway
From the walls of Limerick
And Dublin Bay
From the four proud provinces of Ireland

Chorus

Hearts of steel
And heads unbowing
Vowing never to be broken
We will fight, until
We can fight no more
From the four proud provinces of Ireland

Chorus

The anthem is based only on the chorus.

Here is the Full version Of;

Amhrán na bhFiann A Soldier’s Song

Seo dhíbh, a chairde, duan Ógláigh
Caithréimeach bríomhar ceolmhar
Ár dtinte cnámh go buacach táid
’S an spéir go mín réaltógach
Is fonnmhar faobhrach sinn chun gleo
’S go tiúnmhar glé roimh thíocht don ló
Fé chiúnas chaomh na hoíche ar seol
Seo libh, canaídh Amhrán na bhFiann

Sinne Fianna Fáil...

Cois bánta réidhe, ar ardaibh sléibhe
Ba bhuadhach ár sinsir romhainn
Ag lámhach go tréan fén sárbhrat séin
’Tá thuas sa ghaoth go seolta
Ba dhúchas riamh dár gcine cháidh
Gan iompáil siar ó imirt áir
’S ag siúl mar iad i gcoinne námhad
Seo libh, canaídh Amhrán na bhFiann

Sinne Fianna Fáil...

A bhuíon nach fann d’fhuil Ghaeil is Gall Sons of the Gael!
Sin breacadh lae na saoirse
Tá sceimhle ’s scanradh i gcroíthe námhad
Roimh ranna laochra ár dtíre
Ár dtinte is tréith gan spréach anois
Sin luisne ghlé sa spéir anoir
’S an bíobha i raon na bpiléar agaibh
Seo libh, canaídh Amhrán na bhFiann

Sinne Fianna Fáil..

Yep, I'm from Manila, Phils. and I used to have cats (bless they're souls). This cat in my profile pix is just a download from somewhere.
