My Media Player is not working. I am running Vista. And every time I try to play my play list it tells me that that media player has encountered a problem. It tells me that the song is corrupted. It was working yesterday morning just fine. I come home last night and nothing. I have tried different CDs, and still get NOTHING. I have been to Microsoft's website and did the trouble shooting to still get NOTHING.

Does anybody know how to fix this? And please do not tell me to to try a different media center. I was happy with Media Player. It did what I wanted and that was to play music.

Please help me bring back my music.

Something may have gotten corrupt first thing I would try. Is downloading and reinstalling Media Player.

http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/download/AllDownloads.aspx

If that does not work come back and let us know

That is strange. I like the windows media player myself. I cannot imagine what is wrong. Did you try to re-download the programme.

That is very strange. Sorry I am of no help!!
