JACKSONVILLE - Jacksonville police say Reginald Peterson needs to learn that 911 is not the appropriate place to complain that Subway left the sauce off a spicy Italian sandwich.

Police say the 42-year-old man dialed 911 twice last week so he could have his sub made correctly. The second call was to complain that officers weren't arriving fast enough.

**People wonder about the Police Depts performing their duties poorly, or not at all, imagine getting called for this b.s.?????

 Imagine having a real emergency, needing assistance, and the cops don't respond to you in time because someone didnt have sauce on their food... whoa shame a stupid little prank like this one can be the cause of anothers demise.

The guy was having a sandwich EMERGENCY. 911 = EMERGENCY. Dial 911 for hot sauce. I can see the logic behind it, really. Someone needs to inform the guy that Subway isn't supposed to deliver. That if you want the hot sauce for your sandwich, you are supposed to get it yourself. Other than that all I can say is.

huh huh huh huh huh huh huh huh huh huh huh huh

In the town I lived in when I first mved to Ohio, there was a guy who regularly frequented a small strip club that the town had been trying to close for years. This guy called the police one night and reported that a dancer from the club was supposed to be his "date" at his home and stood him up. He wanted to report a theft, as I guess she took a "deposit". laugh

This is a problem, these ridiculous calls to the police. Misuse of 911 is NOT a felony in Ohio, but I do believe it should be.

That guy should have been arrested. I mean he did report a crime. The crime was his own solicitation of a prostitute, but it was a crime.
