Did you you know or even wonder about BUTTONS? Why do Men's shirts have the Buttons on the Right hand side of the shirt and a Women's Buttons are on the left hand side?














The reason a Man's shirt has the Buttons on the right hand side was in order for a man to unbutton his shirt with his left hand while holding a sword with his right hand.

A woman's Blouse had the buttons on the left side in order to make it easier for the maid that was right handed to unbutton her Blouse when helping dress her.


Humm I know strange but hey I watched a segment on TV tonight about a Button Factory.
