This is very common with alot of the women I meet.
We text a few messages and when I call she won't answer but will text back saying she's busy with something and can't talk but only text. Is this common?

I do a lot of txting when my kids are around, I haven't even been divorced a year and my kids don't need to overhear the conversation still keeping them separated from my private life...something to think about. She honestly may not be able to talk freely flowerforyou

well i prefer texting because by the way they write on there lets me know how stupid they are or if they will actually be worth my breath. By stupid i mean how desprate they are and well 5 out of 6 will not be even worth my breath...

I don't know Hawk. I detest texting.
I get texts all the time from people that know I don't do it.
I figure a phone is for talking. Alexander Bell would be proud if we still used it for that purpose

Because must hear what they read... as opposed to just listening to what someone is speaking to them. Men are visual. Therfore men remember what they read better than what they hear. I think it's genius! It actually makes good listeners out of men.

I agree I only have a limited amount of text a month and it goes out quick due to all the text I recieve. It's a phone isn't it? So use it..

Just about everything i read on this post from the women are all excuses. The fact is, if you have time to text all day, you have time for a 5 min call. To busy my ass laugh

ive done my share of texting like when at work and cant talk over machinery but i still say it takes less time to actually call and sayw hat you wanna say then taking the time to text it and not to mention the time it takes to deliver texts sometimes my texts wouldnt get there for over an hour.

Seems like I can write what I want you to hear better than I can say it..easier for me to write/text what I'm feeling than it is to speak it.

I like to txt because I don't want everyone around me to know my buisness. It's private. It also gives me time to think about what I want to say instead of sitting there creating dead air time. Plus I have unlimited text and data and only 900 any time minutes.

Sometimes it's just easier to text. If it's going to be a short conversation, I'll probably text.
