I got a text message at 1:00 a.m.....then an e-mail at 3:00 a.m.laugh

Maybe we should make you the Mingle2 political blogger. drinker

No thanks!laugh I just went to his website and registered to receive the message to see how it was going to work. I have to say that I was impressed....they did this simultaneous text message broadcast, must have been millions sent. Very impressive roll out.

I think they have the technological advantage over McCain by a long shot. From what I have heard, McCain has never been on the internet and never sent an e-mail. WTF is up with that? laugh

Papa Bush had never seen a grocery store register scanner either until 10 years after its advent. These cats live in the Ivory Tower.

I still vote on issues though. Details like that can be sorted and delegated. Obama will have a huge marketing advantage and, as we saw with the primary, he has a knack for getting people who know how to sell him.

Saddle up and ride kids. It's gonna' be fun.

IS A PITY WHEN ONE HAS TO BE 'SOLD'......I WOULD NOT BUY HIS CRAP IF MY LIFE DEPENDED ON IT...NOPE.....NEVER......

Lindyy, what are you going to do if McCain picks Lieberman? I think he will, either Lieberman or Romney. He may lose some of that evangelical christian vote? laugh

Well lots of people bought the Bush crap and we've paid in blood.

Lieberman or Romney would be interesting pics and may attract some more left leaning independents but will the evangelicals be put off by those choices? I think each of those picks are too chancy for McCain. I expect him to go for a vice-president who is more to the right.

McCain's age I think makes his pick more important than Obama's pick.

How much of a factor is the vice president for voters? I heard somewhere recently that it ranked last in issues voters consider when voting.

Yep it's a crazy world when we agree Lindyy.laugh

I don't want to vote for Obama, but I like Biden in spite of him being an entrenched Democrat. I grew up on the lower Eastern Shore of MD, about 20 miles south of the Delaware line. Biden has been a senator for as long as I can remember, & a household name. He didn't live in DC, he came home at night & kept in touch with his people. He's not perfect, but I doubt there's gonna be any serious skelatons in his closet.

I want a viable independant. Not sure who I will vote for yet, I will probably not decide until November. Biden just put Obama back into consideration for me, but just barely. If I vote for Obama it would be in the hope that Biden will be his successor.

I want to add, people may make fun of Delaware,it's small & not very exciting, but look up some "best place" sites. Delaware's highly ranked for business, taxes, & quality of living in general. I will probably retire there myself. No doubt Biden has helped with this success.
