no I understand what the polls say man, and i happen to agree with them
myself to a point ( I do not believe in mass withdrawl tomorrow).

however the point I ma trying to make is people that go souting out and
getting aggressive and belligerent when there is no need. nd I wil also
admit that one of my own downfallsis I can not STAND ANYONE being used
as a scapegoat, or expected to be perfect above all else. Our president
is not a god. he makes mistakes as do the rest of us. Instead of
getting violent and belligerent about it, we should do what we are
legally allowed to do which is vote at the time of election.

And even though the majority of us DO want our troops home, that dont
mean crap caus eit is not OUR decision. It is our OPINION. The
decision beloings with congress and the president. Another suggestion
would be to contact your senator and congressman and tell the you want
congress to topple president Bush's decision, which they can legally do
with a certaion percentage of votes. But as a people we can only vote
during election time.

and run for office. get off the computer and do what you can to make
the changes you think are needed.

No Gary I do not feel safer
and to show you that I DO NOT agree with everything president bush has
said and done. Although actually I believe it was clinton that started
it. I do not agree with this so-called "homeland security act".
We had homeland security until our national guard started deploying
oiverseas. The national guard is what is left of the original colonies
state militias. Thewy were left in the constitution as a means of
homeland defense for the state during war and natural disasters. They
were never meant to be used for over seas action.

we pay are lovely congress to serve us not the other way around.but that
being said we have one party . cant admitt they are wrong . other party
is to much of a coward to stand up to bush.we should throw all them bums
out start all over.

I just stated the facts, sheandra. I have thought Bush was wrong from
the start. Not in the use of military force, but in the way he used it.
I voted for Bush, the first time, noway I would have the second, and I
didnt. People did, now they got what they asked for, but I am an
American. I have served, honorably discharged, and am ineligable for the
Draft, but if they would let me I would go,hopefully to Afghanistan,
tomorrow, but I would go to Iraq if thats where they choose to send me.I
am old school American, and I feel for my brothers in arms, yes I would
go. Come hell, or high waters, or Nuke's. I was Infantry, 11B20, also
OJT as a mortarman. I think, they should let our boy's shoot without
worry of prosecution everytime something goes wrong.I would want to, but
I would still go.
I cant help thinking, when I see children, boy's, 10, 12, and up, and
think at the rate things are going over there. Those boy's will be in
Uniform and some will be a statestic on the 6'o clock news, and we will
still be argueing. That is a shame!!!

statistic? No I hope not, I believe a change will come about soon
enough and as long as the draft is not enacted how can these boys be
sent over there unless they so choose to join the military?

So, you think its okay as long as they voulunteer!
What does that mean, they are brave and poor?
They can be used as you see fit?
Are you even an American?

If they are American and patriotic, and the war is such a good cause,
why wouldnt they go? Using your analogy its everyones war and parents
should encourage their children to go!
