There is a webmaster who is advertising a new pc control center by sending out a virus that basically hijacks your computer till you buy the program. This is a very real issue as I got my system back from the shop on Saturday and went on line 1 hour later a screen popped up saying viruses had been detected and ask if I wanted to heal them. I thought it was my anti virus (stupid me wrong kind of screen came up). I pushed yes and ended up with their ad as my desktop and a yellow caution would pop up saying I was being attacked by spy ware. periodically it would bring up a explorer page trying to access their page to see if I wanted to buy it yet. I contacted the program site gave em a piece of my mind and they emailed back telling me how to get rifd of the program. They said it was an action of a webmaster and apologized. The only sites I frequent are mingle, hotmail, and a site for the Gonostic Gospels...so be careful

Yeah I have had that before. Nothing like the most useful information at the most useless time. LOL. I will be sure to keep an eye out for anything suspicious like that. Thanks for the warning.

i had one attach to my toolbar and it glitched my internet explorer so my computers in the shop, iam using my daghters lol

If you contact the company it is affiliated with they will give you instructions on how to remove it

It took the company 48 hours to get back to me but they did resolve it for me via instructions in how to get rid of it.
