Rev. Wright in 'steamy' sex scandal
Woman claims: 'That's why I lost my job and why my husband divorced me' -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Posted: September 09, 2008 5:33 pm Eastern © 2008 WorldNetDaily Elizabeth Payne, New York Post photo More than 20 years after Rev. Jeremiah Wright allegedly stole the wife of a man whom he was counseling, he reportedly moved on to another married woman. Dallas church worker Elizabeth Payne, 37, claims she had a sexual affair with Wright. When rumors of the relationship began to surface, Payne's husband left and she lost her job as a secretary to the Rev. Frederick Haynes III at Friendship-West Baptist Church, according to the New York Post. "I was involved with Rev. Wright, and that's why I lost my job and why my husband divorced me," Payne said. Members of the church "found out about the affair in the spring," Payne said. Payne had organized several Texas appearances for Wright after Barack Obama denounced his 20-year pastor for his controversial sermons. "Liz was by Rev. Wright's side day and night during those days," a church source told the Post. Now Payne is filing a wrongful-dismissal claim with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission to recover her position with the church. According to the report, Payne's husband, Fred, said he discovered the sexual relationship in February when he found e-mails between the two. "There must have been about 80 of them, back and forth," he said. "Wright said things like he was going to leave his wife for Elizabeth." Ramah, his second wife, has been married to Wright more than 20 years. Reports indicate Wright unsuccessfully provided marriage counseling to Ramah and her husband at Trinity United Church of Christ in Chicago before he married her. Fred Payne divorced his wife after seeing the messages proving infidelity. "I was downright mad about this bull---," he told the Post. "People wouldn't be happy to know that my wife was sleeping with a black man." He continued, "Rev. Haynes doesn't like the interracial thing, either. This was quite an issue for him." Elizabeth Payne said Rev. Haynes and Friendship-West Baptist Church will not allow her to come back: "I'm not a member of the congregation anymore; I'm not even allowed on the premises." http://www.worldnetdaily.com/index.php?fa=PAGE.view&pageId=74846 Meet the Lovely reverend Wright, Obamas spiritual racist pastor.... |

Shouldn't we ignore that one of Obama's closest advisors for 20 years is a repeat adulterer and racist and focus on the fact that Sarah Palin's daughter had consensual sex with her fiance?

Both are irrelevant to me. Aggreed. Those "news stories" are pure tabloid fodder and should be treated as such, yet all news outlets jump all over each one like its the next big break of a life time. So what if Palin's daughter is having a baby? Who cares about Obama's old pastor? Why havn't i heard anything about the real issues like the economy, or the budget, or the war? Why do i have to hear fake issues all the time? Its irrelevant in the choice of presidents, and shows how stupid politics have become. |

It's irrelevant that Obama's spiritual advisor and mentor is a racist adulterer? I agree that we shouldn't judge a man by the company he keeps, but shouldn't we be wary of someone who, for 20 years, accepts the advice of another who is so clearly hypocritical and offensive?

osama nobama and Bidet are delusional.
They mock Palin for keeping the bridge moneu for Alaska and not MATCHING FUNDS to build the bridge meant to be built to line the former gov's cronies pockets. She did the right thing. Touche. But osama and bidet call her a hypocrit. Guess what? They voted for the boondoggle and she beat them LOL Obama and Biden Voted for Bridge to Nowhere By John Powers, Chicago Daily Observer August 31, 2008 Now that Alaska is front and center in the news again, it is a good time to catch up on a favorite story, The Bridge to Nowhere, using the Washington Post US Congress Votes Database. Though Gov. Palin originally supported the earmark spending on the Ketchikan bridge ("to nowhere), she eventually killed the project, chosing to spend Federal money on other infrasturcture programs. However, Sen. Biden and Sen. Obama voted for funding the Bridge, even when given a second chance by Sen. Tom Coburn, who proposed shifting earmark funds to Katrina relief. Sen. McCain did not vote on the Coburn Amendment, though he is on record as opposing the Ketchikan bridge earmark. Source: cdobs.com sweet. ahhhh... theae are good times. Cleaning out Washington is going to be fun to watch nobama 2008 ![]() ![]() |
