Ronald & Co have a sort of history, where I am from. Their McDonald House, in Portland, Oregon, touched a lot of people...but it wasn't enough. Now, privately funded shelters are increasing in scope and impact...and many donors were first impacted by the efforts of McDonald's. I was amazed at the people who are involved behind the scenes.
