Lisa you were remembered by Dan (My Girl) even if you weren't there in person. And ya ..  uhhhh hate to rain on your parade Dan, but did ya notice that long line of patrons streaming OUT of the bar as you were finishing the song  (in the mirror)

Do people who have these delusions believe what they say, or do they do it to make themselves look better but deep down know who they are? I'm curious, I go back and forth on it. I'm not delusional.... I know I'm grand... I read it somewhere...

I think delusions of grandeur can be a good thing (to a point). I certainly don't have any feelings of this sort, but I know people who do. I know someone who is so full of BS and fluff, but I truly think it makes him feel better to act that way. If I could inject even a modicum amount of that sort of thinking in my brain, without getting to ridicules, the confidence level would just naturally go up. But as it stands, I have been told on many many occasions that I sell my self short. I think if when someone converts that negative energy into talking like they are the #hit, it sometimes works.

What's grand? People who need people.
Grandeur? Pfffffffffarts still happen, even to the geniuses, I suppose. If I invent something better than toilet paper and bidets, then I will feel special, I suppose.
