Yes...and it was about time McCain kicked OBAMA's inexperienced left wing lunatic butt!

Talk about racist comments? How about OBAMA calling his grandmother a "typical white woman???"

Why anyone would vote for someone who is so self absorbed... poor OBAMA because he grew up in a white household with white blood flowing through his veins. I suppose since he's running as a black man it's something he should be sorry for??? DUH!

The guy can't make up his mind...sorta like his politics.
huhI dont understand why Obama being black is an issue.huhI like his intellectual personality and his personal history of success in his life.:smile:I like the fact that he is an achiever.:smile:I consider those to be positive (and rare)qualities in a person.:smile:I have found that people who have these qualities are natural winners.

Well the real issue is do you believe him? His walk says he is other than what he says he is.

Therefore...I don't believe him.
spockDo I believe what?spockThat he is a highly educated intellectual, and a succesful person in his life?spockThese qualities speak for themselves.smile2The man wouldn't be where he is at in life if he did not have exceptional qualities of intellect and personality.smile2People I have known that have this combination of personality and intellect are usually highly successful in their endevours.smile2What is he claiming to be that you feel that he is not?spock

Ur right though... he has exceptional qualitys of intellect n personality... n he's good at what he does... being a politician. Just like mccain. What happened 2 the simple man? Why r we so surprised that things aren't going the way we want when we've got schemers n schiesters running everything? All im sayin is no taxation w/o representation... im looking aroung n scratchin my head cuz nobody I know feels represented
 On the planet I came from personal achievement and intellectualism is considered a GOOD thing. Qualities we tend to want in our leaders:laughing:

I agree... n that's the paradox... personal achievement has no place in politics... if ur n a position of power ur supposed 2 serve the ppl... remember only absolute power corrupts absolutely but power still corrupts... what we're facing is a "who's gonna save us crisis"... time 2 buck up n save ourselves

I saw Obama disrespecting McCain, smirks, and wide grins at inappropriate times, calling him John again, instead of
Senator (Like M did to him - except when McCain called him by mistake--Senator Government, when he spoke of too much gov. :)).
Liked M's Joe Plummer refs, (I am a small biz owner) and yes, O's plan is to tax us far more.
I don't think O went into Ayers deep enough and they skipped by the good Ole Rev. W - and McCain called him on a few lies (and fact-checkers show O lied).
I think McCain won, and don't want to "spread the wealth" :( around. If we work for it, and make more than some, we deserve to keep it and not be over-taxed on anything. BB
What has McCain done in 20yrs??? Its sad noone has answered this..

No one has answered what DEMS have done for the working class besides try to force natl. healthcare down our throats??? DEMS have also sold the working class down the tubes...it's a lie to think they have any interested in the working class other than as useful idiots who would vote for HITLER if he called himself a democrat.
It figures even you wont answer the question..20 plus years hes had and nothing comes to mind..Truley pathetic for such a far right wing nut. Signed the lonney left..

morning, I actually stayed awake and even watched the post shows and polls. Here is my take -

Obama - eloquent, spoken like a true leader
McCain - came out with an agenda to discredit Obama (my opinion didnt work) actually looked rather foolish mocking cameras (jmo)

Obama - handled all the questions professionally, answered and responded to the barrage of hatred spewed by McCains responses.
McCain - Body language too easy of a read, contempt, dislike, and sad to say mocking thereby taking away from the importance of debate. Stayed clear of answering certain question like what to cut, vague answers no real objective. jmo

McCain - kept bringing up Ayers, Acorn, which I think Obama has satisfied before, yet he kept plugging never providing anything new

Obama - a little too gentlemanly at times (did not lower standards to take advantage and belittle other candidates (Palin) yet allowed McCain to sneak in little snubs. Would have liked a little more aggression.

Both candidates should be melded and should run as one, both have some good ideas, both have some ridiculous ideas, and some have tomorrow as their vision.

These attacks, debates take away from both candidates more than they supply the viewing public with information we want. The childish ranting of speaking negatively is a waste of time. jmo

No... we shouldn't elect a bum. Personal achievement IS needed in a leader... but so is humility n honesty... im not attacking mccain or obama... im just saying that politicians in general have a really egotistical view of themselves...

I think Obama kept his kool in many aspects including calling McCain out on the lies about ACORN, his terrorist ties and the so called fines that Obama allegedly said he was going to place on small businesses if they didn't offer health insurance, as well as clearing up the fact that the only reason Obama voted down the abortion law was because it didn't contain all of the much needed information about women's health issues nor the fact that there was already a law in place on the books. Futile attempts that McCain used to try to make Obama look bad.....again.

I applauded Obama when he kept his head up and focused on the tasks needed to be focused on when the question was asked about how the campaign ads were despicable and hurtful toward the other candidate. I thought poor McCain was going to start crying he was so hurt from some of the supporters campaigns, especially when he said 'and you didn't even repute it'. oh boo hoo. FOCUS MCCAIN if you can't handle the heat...get out of the kitchen.

The only thing I saw that McCain did right was to mention Mr. Joe the plumber's name so much that even if his taxes WERE raised, his publicity will more than make up for it.

Overall, I think McCain did a bit better in trying to win over the undecided votes, but a day late and a dollar short. He was still pointing fingers and trying to put Obama down rather than giving the undecided voters what they needed to hear.

i don't recall him saying that but i did miss a bit here and there. even if he did, he was probably just responding to the ridiculous racial comments about him being black (he is half white too) but i guess most forget that part

laugh just when i started to dream about Joe SixPack, come to find out he's only a plumber. laugh

Why should it matter to you or anyone, if I call 'my grandmother' not yours, a typical white woman/ a typical latina woman/ a typical black woman? Yes can be taken out of context by those who dont know better, a typical latina in my eyes may not mean what you perceive it to be, but people I am talking about 'my grandmother' why should anyone get involved?

not sure who others responded, but I was actually tired of hearing about the plumber, he wants to buy his business that he has been working 10-12 hrs for years. Big f'ing deal (jmo) - congrats if he's able to; continue trying if you cant right now.

McCain kept saying Obama wants to spread Joe the Plumbers money around, hell, I thought Joe the Plumber couldnt buy the business - all those hypothetical questions, responses, scenarios did nothing but make me tire of Joe the Plumber.

If he's able to buy - Congratulations
If he finds he's unable to buy right now - do like the most of us, wait, save and try again

not a major science. jmo

Which states do you think Mccain will win and do you think he has a chance to win at the last minute. This reminds me of the Al Gore and Bush Presidency. I mean goodness it look like Al Gore was going to win and at the last minute (puff) Bush won. Will this be repeat in history?

Would Obama need a 20 point lead to ensure his election because of this ACORN situation and other voting frauds?

I think Mccain looked like a desperate old man. especialy when he tried to spin a tax increase on the wealthy into a tax increase on "joe the plumber" what a joke that was.

You are just saying that because you hate republicans

How many way would Obama have to say no taxes for small businesses and 95% of people before you get it? I guess that is way to are republican it seems to be a problem you guys have, listening that is.

I'm not a rebublican... I get it... I did the math. Ain't no way 95% of americans get a tax break... whats more is that by the time his plan is fully implemented taxes will have to be raised on a larger and larger segment of the population to PAY FOR IT ALL.

You been LIED to. I will not even be polite enough to call is SPIN... A lie is a lie.

Im an independent and I get it too. McCain isnt going to raise taxes he just want to tax other things..Same thing no!! To tax health care, something that is already unaffordable to so many is the wrong way to go..So I guess you have been lied to also. To say health care costs $5800 yearly, maybe 15 yrs ago he could say that. Alot of people have to pay more than that a year to be covered by their employer ins. Alot of employees have to pay out of pocket to be on the employer health care..In 1996 my percentage was $345 month for my family(Me and my daughter) to be covered..So his plan will cost people their coverage and not help anyone obtain it...Show me where it does!!!!!
