I am sure there are people voting for Palin just cause she is a woman or Obama just cause he is black. Ignorance isn't owned by any race or party. It is funny too that the men responses during the debate elevated when they spoke of Palin. So could they be voting over sex appeal also?

The election is not about race for me but the issues.Don't blanket judge all people because you have a chip on your shoulder .Let's stop blaming whitey for all our problems and do something positive cause you can't tell me that there aren't some Americans who are voting for Obama because he is of color.Keep it real. The african american community tends to trend democratic anyway.And how do you account for all the numbers of white people being for Senator Obama if it was a racial thing?
Mirror when you think about it who else did they have to vote for other than white candidates until recently?As for voting race,I can only speak for me. Im just pointing out that you dont see all of this conflict and consternation amongst black voters who support white representatives the same way you see it amongst the white community.

Senator Obama being president is not going to change anything for (specifically)African Americans except perhaps giving them an inspirational figure to aspire to be like.Whats wrong with that?
There are a lot of great African Americans to emulate and I hope to God people do not vote based on that but the issues. Senator Obama has all of the qualities that define an excellent leader. And its been proven that African Americans will vote for white democrats over black republicans. So its not a race thing, its a party thing.

I think some people are voting based on race but not one person on here would admit that  Yeah a lot of the Republicans are voting on race but they wont admit it(except at McCain rallys) LOL
