This is a very touchey subject in a public arena because the general non-minority population is so terrified of being labled racist, but I'd REALLY be interested to know the answer to this question on a national level....such as a poll or something....  I have found that quite frankly a lot of white people say stupid **** about this subject. Thats the problem. If a white person dont wanna be called rascist then they shouldnt make racial comments.

There are a lot of great African Americans to emulate and I hope to God people do not vote based on that but the issues. Senator Obama has all of the qualities that define an excellent leader. And its been proven that African Americans will vote for white democrats over black republicans. So its not a race thing, its a party thing.

There are a lot of great African Americans to emulate and I hope to God people do not vote based on that but the issues. yes, there are some like Reverend Doctor King, but never one as successful as Senator Obama, (with the exception of Oprah). A lot of the role models for African Americans perpetuate negative sterotypes with a few shining exceptions. Most black people will tell you this.

This country has been voting on race since it was founded so what the hell is so different now.............. 
Speak for yourself...I vote my principles. For example...I would vote for Condi Rice. However, I would not vote for Colin Powell. I would vote for SARAH Palin, but I would not vote for Hillary Clinton. See??? |
