You know white people can't say or do **** without some idiot crying racism.I'm sick of it myself.Yet of course it's cool to make song after song with the N word and talking trash about women.Double standard.

Well considering Black folks are using the N word that does not make it racist. The only way it could be racists is if whites are made because they can't use the word which would be racist.

There are black folks who do not like the N word even being used by themselves. That is an internal issue. Whites should not ever use the word, EVER, unless they are racists. Even the white folks who hang out with black folks and use the word fluently are wrong to use it. They disrespect any black person within hearing range by saying it.

If you are sick of hearing about racism, work to stop it. Then it will stop.

I do my part in calling racism whenever I see it or hear it.

No offense intended here at all

I don't use it.I like my teeth jk. it still offends me to hear it used in any form.do you know who listens to hip hop the most?White suburbia so if they are singing the songs and using the lingo, who's to blame?

You know how music goes. The shock value for the kids to their parents or society is more important than content. It was the same with our generation. They just have to be more vulgar and explicit to get shock these days. I don't like it myself much but I will fight for the freedom of all who speak or make music to do it.

Believe me I'm the same way when it comes to speech but we can't yell racism when some words that were once bad become apart of the vernacular.

Oh yea we can. The history of this country has a very bad bad mark against it when it comes to the black folks. Until there is equality, which there is not, we will have to control the degradation of blacks in this country. It is our job as Americans to do it.

I know whites do not want the job but as the upper power structure in this country, whites, will have to do the job until all sides are equal.

This country has been voting on race since it was founded so what the hell is so different now..............frown

Speak for yourself...I vote my principles.

For example...I would vote for Condi Rice. However, I would not vote for Colin Powell.

I would vote for SARAH Palin, but I would not vote for Hillary Clinton.

See???

Yeah I see there is that Ivy League(not) education that I have been talking about.............PALIN....................that woman has set women back a hundred years..............you have to be kidding me I cringe at the fact that she has estrogen..........UHHHHHHHHHHHH

You're just jealous because she co-opted the love from the public, and the excitment, that you all think DEMS should be getting. LOL No one is excited about OBAMA...

BTW...I was making an analogy... It really didn't require the sort of answer you gave. DUH!

Definitely no jealousy involved there. Sarah does not speak for all women, not even half of women in this country. Can't be jealous of a woman who is stuck 50 years or so back in the evolution of women.laugh
 And its a fact that there are women who are prejudice against other women. Palin made women rape victims pay for their own rape kits and was also against equal pay for women.

Women are the worst when it comes to judging their own gender. It gets vicious quick.Sarah Palin is not a representative of American women.Especially single mothers, career women and any female with an IQ over 12.
 In Feminism class in college one of the first things my instructor established was that there are women who are prejudice against womens issues. Always have been. There were women who were against womens right to vote. My own grandmother never learned to drive a vehicle because she felt women shouldnt be driving.laugh LOLlaugh I had a female teacher in high school who said that womens should never be president and that was in the early 90s.laugh LOLlaugh

 Its all about context. Writers such a Mark Twain and Stephen King use the N word in their works and its not a problem.

It is a problem in a sense because blacks do not read certain things unless made to in school because of the black degradation in the books.

Just like Gone with the Wind, one of my favorites growing up. Black folks do not encourage other black folks to watch it because of the mistreatment of blacks in the film.

It makes them feel bad. So they do not read or watch that which will make them feel bad on purpose.

Blacks know it is part of history, they have been told by their family of the struggle and most importantly they live the prejudice to this day in this country. They need no reminders.

True, maybe our only saving grace. But the job is not done yet. The black folks have a struggle ahead still and it stems from the slavery. They were a race of people without education thrust out into the world with almost no skills to survive. They are struggling to find their place and get it together. It will take them more generations to shake it. We need to be as supportive of them and all minorities struggling as we can.

Sorry for the sidelines of the OP there.

Race is an issue in this country. It should not be, people know it is wrong for it to be so but they have a hard time letting go of what they have been taught.

It is sad really.

Interesting, but my point was it is a small percentage of the voters.

Now I would like to bring up how would voting for some one because of their race be any different than voting for someone because of their religion?
