Do Christian or so called Christians love one another? Do they even love others that are not Christians.

What if Christians showed love for their neighbors, or strangers? How would that effect even their own environments around them?

Do you think you can do in it in Jesus name, and not towards your own self interest?

So... here is my CHALLENGE to all you so called CHRISTRIANS......
Show some unselfish love for your fellow person for ONE WEEK...

Then post the results in this thread.....

Challenge them to take the challenge.... Ask them to do it in Jesus name. Watch them squirm, or look for excuses....

Most of them will avoid this topic anyway.
It's easier to talk than to do.

One week? We'd all fail miserably!

How about a couple of kind acts instead? laugh

This is a daily 365 days a week...not just a week. I love my fellow Christians, I love those that are not more. I love the sinner just not the sin.

I don't think if a Christian truly walked in the ways of the Lord that this would be hard at all. Yes it is a narrow path I walk and this thread is a perfect example of that. But I walk it with a glad heart and with love for all on this planet.

What I find funny is the ones that are claiming it can't be done. Maybe a better one would be to Walk with the Lord for a week if you don't believe......and see what happens...

God Bless.

I look forward to your post, or acts after one week. The Challenge is for acts.... not walking on water, but simple acts for their fellow person.

Sweetie I live it daily, and do for others constantly it's engrained into who I am....I don't change from week to week..I am who I am every single day of my life.....I serve every single day in one way or another.

What are you looking for a resume of how I serve the Lord? And do you honestly think that will change in a week...I think not. Would you like a list of daily kindness that I do in a day.....and take away the simple act of giving or doing for the Lord not for ones self. hmmmmmm

I am but a humble servant sweet man.....so I see no reason for making it public....Does that make sense?

Is love a virtue of only Christians? Is any religion that doesn't teach love valid? Are atheists capable of love? Then why post a thread like this?

As a nonchristian why would I ask anyone to do anything in jesus name?

It would be the same if I asked them to to something in the flying speghetti monsters name.

Why not just be good to people becouse it's what you want to do, and not becouse your doing it in the name of someone?

No brainer...I do acts of kindness without being challenged...

1. I just fostered a kit kat...had her fixed...shots etc... and found her a great home where she will be loved & cared for...

2. I gave someone who is down & out money to buy food for their home.

3. I cooked a meal for someone who was sick...

Like I said...a NO brainer...

I don't notice any non religious people posting any random acts of kindness.

I guess they think taxes is the only contribution that is viable? laugh

that's what I'm doing

it's not so much of a challenge as a taunt I think

and I can ignore taunts

Right the diffrence is we actuly do it.

Insted of just posting in on a dateing site.

Now if you mean stripping people of their rights and treating others as secondclass citizens bombing abortion clinics and flying planes into buildings are random acts of kindness, then your right, you have it all over the non religious on that.

What hostility causes you to single out only Christians in this challenge?

Doing charity or helping others just for attention or recognition (own self interest) will not net the results you are looking for.

But doing anything with and from real love in your heart, no matter how small and insignificant, no matter who sees you do it, will bring the joy of love to the event, and joy to your heart as well.

Love attracts love.

Thanks Jeannie... it is getting increasingly hostile around here... it just spoils the glory glow. LOL

Just curious what me posting things that I did for someone would do exactly....Part of being a Christian is to serve with a humble heart....so honestly no true Chrisitan would post what they did for there fellow man here..

This thread was a deliberate put down...I posted something only to show that there are people who do things just because... not to give myself a pat on the back.

The best things in life go unnoticed
