I just think if you see a new person come into a thread, like in the Chit Chat forum, why not just say hi to them, or something like that to let them know they were acknowledged. A lot of times, the new people are only welcomed on the Welcome Forum, and that's it. I think if we all take the initiative to reach out and talk to the new people in more then just the Welcome Forum, they might feel a little more comfortable and be more prone to let people get to know them. JMHO 
 im glad you joined you always seem so pleasent so it may be months late but if i missed your newbie thread welcome here im thinking i did i wasnt on here that much at that time period..
Thanks Buttons And I try to stay pleasant as much as I can, although yesterday I did lose it on here (just a tad) for the first time.
And Kristi, you're definitely right about that. I witnessed that myself. 
lmao joking i sure have done my bit in appoligising once i was really bad ..thank gawd for mods i didnt realize how horrible i was sounding till one emailed me really omg!!! im thankful i emailed that person and appoligised though but just cause you have done it once or two times ive watched what u say and i notice whos naughty and nice... or naughty in a nice way your a good person ive seen lots that you have written

I am not here for drama. My main goal at this point is trying to get a certain forum guy to notice me and message me but he is playing hard to get. I can't message him because I am too old fashioned. You might want to rethink that position....! Some of us absolutely refuse to e-mail anybody first -- traumatic experiences and all that....! 
Here's what I do when I want someone special to notice me -- I put hidden messages in my posts -- seriously, I have done that -- and, even though it has never worked yet, who's to say that someday it won't....? |
