i had called my dad tonight and my step mom sounded sick, as i thought maybe the flu, so i called my dad later, and he kept this as a secert untill now. my step mom devleoed breast cancer last aug 2007 and did did the surgery to remove the cancer but in aug 2008 the cancer came back and in this time in her hip. and she just got done with chemo 2 days ago and she cant eat anything. she under hospic now and she has the hospitol bed in the living room.
and the other day my dad was trying to help her from falling and he got a pinch nerve on this shoulder where it went down to his arm, and h might have to go in for surgery if any of treatments they want to do doesnt work.. my step mom is in her 80s and had always been in good health she never ate the wrong foods and you figure she would be the last person that would get cancer. but yet anyone can get that |

The hardest thing to do is stand back and watch someone you love die from this. Your feel helpless, alone at times, afraid, frustrated, angry, confused. And when it is all said and done you have all those emotions to feel again when they finally do pass away. You have my prayers. I lived it with my mom and my aunt.

Queene, I am so sorry to hear about your parents. They must have been wanting to shelter you from this hurt & helpless feeling as long as possable by not telling you about the cancer before. I wish peace & comfort for your whole family .

Queene, I am so sorry to hear about your parents. They must have been wanting to shelter you from this hurt & helpless feeling as long as possable by not telling you about the cancer before. I wish peace & comfort for your whole family . its my step mom(she not much of a parent never was one her self) |

I'm sorry to hear that, Queenie!! Blessings to all involved. We all have to go, but it's still hard stuff to cope with no matter the age and especially when we know one suffers so.

As I write this, I am sitting at my parents' home with my mom watching my dad die from lung cancer. It is heartbreaking to see them suffer so.   I'll say a prayer for you too Queene

dear heavenly father i pray over queen and her family that ya will watch over them and help guid em threw in this power full need im takeing the time two pray over queen and her step mom lord that ya will lift her up under your will and heal her from what ever it may be causeing her in pain noone deserves this lord noone dose not anyone so i am praying for her her fam and everyone in this topic board that who ever has any problems sick wounded hurt or even has cancer i pray that youll lift them up and heal them lord we know what ya can do under your power lord and i ask ya that ya lift queen and her family up guid em threw the problem right now i saw what ya did for my dad when he had a brain bleed so i pray that youll work your magic over queen and her family lord and give them the strangth and curage two know that ya are there with them ever step of the way lord i aslso ask that will heal anyone that has problems lord in your heavenly name we pray Amen
