OK, so this place is for musicians. Post your pics of you best axes, basses, drums, keyboards, or any instrument you might play.

Talk about gigs, band members, music playing in general.

Not one of those "post a song title" threads... this thread is for us folks who have been playing an instrument somewhere between 1 day and 100 years (that ought to cover it)

Maybe you got some real-life band stories to tell?

Need some advice on getting your band's promo pack together?

Just how the heck do you meet an agent anyways?

Should our solo/duo/trio aqct play for free, ever?

There ought to ne lot's of musicians out here on Mingle...

...so here's the open Mic jam to beat all open Mic jams....

anybody got a link to a free MP3 web hosting site we could use to share some of our music here?

I have a bah-zillion backing tracks, too... could record your own thing over the backing track and post it here, or whatever... I think I have like 300 backing tracks I could post here if I knew of a free web hosting place

...ok, first I'm guessing you're multitalented and play multiple instruments. What style are your backing tracks? Stored on akai programmer or on hard drive or transferable media? Just curious. You'll have to be patient with me tonite. I'm on my own version of the red eye traveling from detroit to minneapolis and I'm on satcom.

I've just a few photo shots on here. I have everything. My recording studio is a laundry list of accumulation. I basically am blessed and have everything. I just sold one of my pianos to make room for more stuff down the road. I have both analog and digital capabilities. From protools to custom jvc cobalt head analog tape machines. Right now I have exactly what I need, dream of, and want. I got my sound.

Most of my backing tracks are band minus guitar, but you can do the left/right speaker thing for some instruments

all are on mp3... which can easily be transferred to .WAV or .AIFF with stuff I have here if that is what people need
