You know we talk about a lot of spiritual things on here and our differences - but what is really important to you in your daily life? what is it you want out of life - your goals or desires, or dreams? the here and now - not what may or maybe afterwords. anyone?

Can we answer in plain English, or with the spelling impediment English?

I want to wake up and I want a good bowel movement and.......in that order!

love and fellowship among man. no segregation according to religion, race, creed.
intelligent and critical thought, without having been brainwashed with the irrational fear of burning in hell for it. or willfully remaining ignorant of something becaus it conflicts with religious dogma. the advancement of technology and knowledge, through science, for the betterment of society and eradication of suffering as much as possible. this would mean not simply accepting disease as god's will for original sin, or the work of satan, but actively attempting to fight it as was done with smallpox. genetically modifying crops to produce more food to eradicate hunger etc etc. i want a world where morals are based on treating our fellow man with kindness, dignity and empathy. |

So I will retire now with one last tort. I wish I could be what it would take, To place food on everyone's plate. In this journey of the thing we call life, There is much too often way too much strife. When I rise in the morning with a new day fresh, I go out and fish with a net made of mesh. I will fear no thing of evil, not to be sure, That is but one hope, for hunger there must be a cure. As I plan to go on in this world made of stone, I will not give up till they plant my bones!

I wish to be present for my little girl, Savannah. Some days I'm just so numbed out from the constant motion of the day's conscious gobble-de-goop that I come home a bit zombified. It takes almost the whole evening to land (so to speak) and its already her bedtime. My favorite time is when I get to read to her and curl up with her while she drifts off to sleep. Her crib has been modified into a toddler bed (open on the side). I often awaken to a falling sensation as I smack down on the floor. She's growing so fast! |

I feel I'm in no position at this time to do so and have no idea of how to begin moving in that direction. |
