about an age difference between you and a prospective date? Does it matter? How many years is too much? Is it more important that the two of you "click"? Do you care what other people say?

I no longer date over 40. I tried and tried and tried, but it never really worked out. So that's that, for now. Until I change my mind again...

age only seems to matter to the really young

otherwise it's all relative

I have 20 something girls that go to my profile and say "eeeeeewwwwww, he's old"

and I have little old grandma's that go to my profile and say "hubba hubba"

depends on how much older or younger. I don't want to be with someone old enough to be my mom. I'm currently dating someone six years older than me and it's working out well.

about an age difference between you and a prospective date? Does it matter? How many years is too much? Is it more important that the two of you "click"? Do you care what other people say?

It's a number. Big deal. So is your shoe size, your license plate, your social security number.

One of us has ridden the planet around the sun more times than the other. THERE'S a basis for a decision about interpersonal interactions....

I have 4256 other ways I can exclude people as dating prospects, I don't need to start making new ones up out of the ether....

You could have a million dates if you only would widen your search parameters

It seems to me that most men and some older women don't care too much about age, I have dated as young as 22, but most younger women look for someone within 10 years. I have heard eeewww from younger girls, but they chase the young bucks that don't know how to treat a lady, and complain that there aren't any good guys around...go figure..we are around but they let age keep them from good guys.

No, I want to date Lexy. Step off!

If he opens just one I'm in there. But, I want Lexy to be happy, and keep up his parameters. No one is happy settling....

i've always thought that your 'age' should actually be your intelligence level.

You're the smartest person on here, I've always said that. And if I ever "reform," you'll be the first one to know about it, even if I AM intimidated by your sheer intellect....
