think chicago would be big enough..i dont know much about those

My family, for the most part, are native to Chicago. I grew up in the
South Suburbs and what's more I was a participant in the Gay Olympics in
July of 2006. I can not immagine having world Olympics within the
City. The Gay Olympics was a fraction of what could be expected, in
comparison with World Olypmics. I can't see it happening.

Here is what I can see. There is quite a bit of space available for
this purpose just outside the city limits, mostly to the north. While
most of the actual competition could be held at different places within
the city, I think it's more likely that they might built something to
accomodate the games themselves outside the city. This would keep the
hotels, hostels, motels and every other temporary habitation within teh
city filled and thereby add to the income within the city. It would
also be good for the suburbs surrounding the city as the overflow, or
those who do not want to be IN the city will be happy to stay there.
Chicago does things big when they decide to. I have no doubt they would
go all out with this one.
