Police have finally determined that Adam Walsh, John Walsh's son, was murdered by Otis Toole. Otis Toole, for those who haven't heard of him, was a mentally retarded, violent, homosexual cannibal. He twice admitted to killing Adam and then recanted twice. But his niece has revealed that he made a death bed confession to the murder.

But for all of the horror of what happened to poor Adam and the torture his family went through for nearly three decades, a lot of good has come from John's work.

I hope you will all join me in a quick prayer (or moment of silence for the non-religous) for Adam's family.

That is so sad. All these years...I know in my heart Adam is standing with god.

I am happy that they have found some closure. Just saw his father speak on the news.

I read the story of Toole here:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ottis_Toole

Something seems odd about what he claims is the story of his life, but then I am no expert on mental illness either.

I have known that for years. I have done extensive research on both Otis Toole, and Henry Lee Lucas. These two are a murderous pair, they claimed to have killed over six hundred people across the U.S. They murdered a family friend here, and that was the launch of my investigation. Henry Lee took deputies to the house, and he confirmed the killing, with details only the murderer could have known. Such as the unlocked sliding doors, the fact that the furniture had been rearranged, and that the baby (at the time) was in a crib. He described the crime scene right down to the womans bra.

This lady was a friend of my family, and her father is probably the only reason i am alive today.

In letters between Henry Lee, and Otis Toole, Otis asked..was i wrong to eat those people, Henry's answer was "no, it's just what you like" or something to that effect.

These men should have been put to death for the gruesome crimes they committed. The case here in Ga, was pretty much overlooked, because of the more gruesome crimes in other states.

I will join you in the prayers for Adam, and for his family.

It amazes me that these two could have been so evil and not been detected long before..

This actually gives me hope that I may one day see the man who killed my sister proved guilty. My heart goes out to the Walsh family, and I know this is a huge burden lifted from their hearts to see this case closed after all these years. I really hope they can move on in peace now.
