Do you feel with internet dating there are more than one obstacle aside from typical dating? Do you think it is attributed to the news, word of mouth, or other internet sites? Does having dating at the click of a mouse make dating more difficult instead of easier?

I find there are too many questions in online dating, and far too few people who allow the time or patience for an understanding or answer. I think a lot has to do with an outside source, not entirely sure which is more damaging to online dating. Dating will in all honestly be a lost cause on my part, I don't frequent places often (lack the time) and I'm not a bar hopper...as well I'm not looking for a one nighter or an easy to get...as simple as it is that I seek, I may never find it.

She has a lot of things going on in her life right now so we are just friends at this time.

To me meeting people online eliminates some, SOME, shallowness. If gives a chance for someone to get to know you as a person, before they see your body and make their judgments from that.

It does make the first time you meet someone more awkward, however. At least in my opinion/experience.

I've also figured out that dating online is thought of by many as pathetic. Gotta love them closed minded people =)

I just found out this was online dating today...wow. But danger? pwah, I punch danger in the face then takes its lunch moneys every day! :P
