SALEM, Ore. -- Jail documents show police believe a 19-year-old Salem woman killed her baby by shaking him to death.
Carrie Noe is being held without bail at Marion County jail after her arraignment Tuesday. Police arrested Noe and charged her with murder after being called to her home Friday regarding an unconscious infant. Police say 2-month-old Ian Noe was already dead by the time medics arrived. According to a probable cause statement filed by Salem police, Noe told investigators she shook the baby three times when he wouldn't stop crying. After the shaking, the baby went limp with labored breathing after being placed in his crib. Noe did not call for help or check on the baby again until her husband returned home. Noe's next court appearance is scheduled for Jan. 9. |

Man, I know I've been frustrated by the babies' crying, but I would hide myself in the closet and breath and count and pray. I can't imagine doing that to a kid, nor can I imagine not calling for emergency help, but I can imagine the frustration. I'm so glad I never have to personally know. May that baby rest in peace.

Yes I have heard of this.. it's very terrible to hear.. I pool during holidays at All Children's Hospital here in Florida... It happens way to often with out getting to the news... May that little one feel forever safe and forever no pain where he is now...
![]() As to where was God? Dr. Kennedy answers it like this, in his Turn it to Gold book, "He was hanging on the cross," he states in his book. "The cross is God’s ultimate solution to sorrow and suffering. Thus all of our pain is in His heart. Our God does not hold Himself aloof from our difficulties. He is right here, in the midst of our suffering, enduring more of it than any of us ever has or ever will. And not only that, but He gives us the power to bear our suffering." ![]() |

That's pretty much your standard answer for a god that never actually does anything. Convenient!

God did not LET this happen. Humans did. We shall not blame Him for not being there because He was there the whole time. God gave Man free will... Man mess things up not God. Want to blame someone for this then blame Man, not God. Look in the mirror at your self and start to take responsibility for your
own actions for a change. God is doing His job and will forever do so. Ekk... IMO anyhow. |

I figure when I die I have a few questions to ask God myself.
Why does evil exist? I think I know that answer but... Still, I don't think you can hang this on God. God or the Gods gave humans our greatest gift that is free will. We all face moral choices regularly whether they be in our personal life or in our choices as citizens. How we chose to act or react is not the choice of God or the Gods but ours. We are each the captain of our own souls. This woman I believe will be accountable for her actions. Not just in the courts or man. The child was innocent and I believe that innocence and that soul will endure. Whether in heaven or another body here on earth or in some place us mere mortals have no knowledge of. |
