Should religion stay out of government decision making process.

Um! Hell YES! Under god and In God We Trust were not added until 1965 and our country was doing just fine before that!

look at theocracies, such as the middle east they are all in a horrible state.
countries were people are very religious such as Latin America, are also in a horrible state.
so I suppose it is only common sense. ohwell

actually the country was even worse before that.
bigotry and racism was extremely rampant, and religious ideologies still reigned supreme.
but maybe the fact that that was added satisfied conservatives, haha Idk :smile:

**The Congressional Record of 1956 reads: "At the present time the United States has no national motto. The committee deems it most appropriate that 'In God we trust' be so designated as U.S. national motto.
